Making a molecule in Thailand or importing it: five questions to ask first

Many specialty chemicals used in Thailand are imported. Before you ask whether one could be made here, these five questions help you see whether it is worth the conversation.

Five questions

Questions to ask first

  • 1. How much do you need, and how often?

A one-off research quantity and a steady supply are different projects. We work from lab batches up to kilogram scale.

  • 2. What specification do you need?

Write down the grade, form or quality your process needs. It decides how the molecule is made and checked.

  • 3. How will you check what you receive?

Know which checks matter to you. We confirm structure by NMR and measure content by GC-MS.

  • 4. How reliable is your supply today?

Long lead times, minimum orders or a single supplier abroad are common reasons to look for a local source.

  • 5. Does the product that uses it need registration?

Making a molecule is not the same as registering a product that contains it. If your product needs registration, for example with Thailand's Department of Agriculture, that is a separate process.

When it is worth a conversation

If you need a molecule in research quantities or up to kilogram scale, know the specification you need, and want it made and checked in Thailand, tell us the molecule. We will give you a plain answer before any work starts.

We do not offer GMP manufacturing, and we do not publish prices, because they depend on the molecule.
